Changing the page size of a colour file

Adjusting the page setup of a colour file

The colour file page is designed to simulate a piece of paper of a particular size, in exactly the same way as the Layout Window. The size of the chosen page is set in the Page Setup window. Make sure you have the correct printer chosen in Printer Type.

Note: Page size and setup is only acknowledged in a custom View Setting, not in the application default ‘list mode’.

  1. Go to File Menu > Page Setup…
  2. Select or enter the paper size you will be using, then click OK. The colour file page will automatically update to display the chosen paper size. The colour chips are laid out across the page.

Once you have selected your page size the colour chips may need to be adjusted so that they fit on the page correctly. Chips will hang off the page if the chip layout doesn’t fit the selected page size. You can adjust the layout of the chips by going to View Menu > View Settings.
