The Status Window displays a series of warning icons, depending on the status of the selections within a design. This is very useful as it indicates whether an area is selected or not when it is hidden.
From the Window Menu select Status, or use the keyboard shortcut ⌘⇧S to open it.
- The first button is added when a selection is active. Clicking on it will deselect the area:
- The second button is added when a selection is hidden. Clicking on it will show the selected area:
- The third button is added when a feather is set in the Feather Window. Clicking on it will open the window and set the feather amount back to zero:
- The fourth button is added when a dot gain is set. Clicking on it will open the Dot Gain window so that it can be changed or removed:
If no icons are visible in the Status Window there are no selected areas within the design and no feathers or dot gains are set.
