CMYK separations can be automated using our Palette Technology, which means these customised separations can be used as part of a more sophisticated, automated separation method.
- Open an existing Palette, or create a new one by going to File Menu > New > Palette.
- Open the CMYK Table Maker, select the CMYK Table you want from the list on the left hand side, then drag the handler to the Palette.
- If this is the first item you have dragged to this Palette, it will now look like this:
- Hold down ⌥ (option key) and click on the title of the button to reveal its contents.
- Click the spanner icon on the right hand side to open the Editor.
- Enter your required settings in to the Editor and save the Palette.

- Open an existing Palette, or create a new one by going to File Menu > New > Palette.
- Search for CMYK Table Maker in the Palette Window
- Drag this to the centre panel to create an action button
- Expand the action to show the contents and click the icon to view the editable content
- Enter your required settings and save the Palette.
