Palette Handlers are what we use to build our automated actions, every Palette starts with a Handler.

What is a Handler?

 A Handler is a button which tells the Palette which setting we want to save. Whether it's a selected tool, or separation method. Where ever you see one of these handlers (pictured above) you can use this to create an automated action. Some Handlers contain editable content, you'll be able to see this by double clicking on it. 

For example, the Document Handler (found on the toolbar), contains multiple different types of setting which you can save. Simply double click on the handler and choose which setting you want, or drag the whole thing to record all settings.
