Exporting Flat images from 3D Designer will allow users to choose a file type of their choice and export a flat image of their current view in 3D Designer. 

1.  Open the 3D Designer window and set your viewing conditions to your preferred set-up. 
   
2.  Click on the toolbar item which says Export Image
   
   
    
3. Select your desired file type from the drop down menu and press save.
