The page in the Layout Window is designed to represent a piece of paper of a particular size. The size of the chosen page is set in the Page Setup Window.
- Go to File Menu > Printer Type and select which printer you will print to
- Go to File Menu > Page Setup or click on the Page Setup button in the toolbar
The Page Setup window will change depending on which printer type you select. For printers driven by a Mac®OSPrinter driver the window will look like this:
For printers driven by AVA, the window will look similar to this:
The Layout Window will automatically update to display the chosen paper size. This is particularly useful if you print to a wide format printer because you can create a page of effectively limitless size (the only restriction is the capability of your hardware).
